Art21 Seeks Fall Interns – Apply Online

Art21 seeks seven bright students or recent graduates to work with us this September through 2007 or Spring 2008. Art21 internships provide a fantastic opportunity to learn about documentary production, contemporary art, and art education, as well as to actively contribute to the creation of the series.

Ideally, we are looking for seven part-time interns who could come in at minimum 1-3 whole days per week, depending on the internship. We offer a small daily stipend to cover travel and lunch, as well as academic credit if you need it.

Because we are a small staff in an open plan office, interns get a bird’s eye view of many aspects of cultural programming including: television production, Web site development, publishing, art education, outreach, development and fundraising, and publicity/marketing. This fall, internships are available in the curatorial, education, outreach/public programs, development, and web/new media departments.

All candidates should be motivated, responsible, and self-directed individuals with strong communication, organizational, and research skills. A willing, can-do attitude is a must. Knowledge of contemporary art and good writing skills, and knowledge of Mac OSX platform, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite programs, and some HTML experience helpful.

For more details, and to submit your application, please review the internship section of our Web site:
