Welcome Kat Parker to the Art21 Guest Blog! Kat holds a master’s in art education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2004) and currently directs Rhona Hoffman Gallery in Chicago. From March 2006 – June 2007, she and Katie Rashid (of Jack Shainman Gallery‚Äîhome to Season 1 artist Kerry James Marshall) founded and ran duchess, an apartment gallery which exhibited emerging experimental art. Kat will share her take on the Chicago art scene and other noteworthy news this week.
