A friend i work with found a painting on the street and brought it to me. he knows i love and collect various things,
either found or acquired. it was an awful painting. of a dog poorly rendered but not in an interesting or redeeming way.
i had some spray paint sitting around and decided to alter it perhaps “fix”it make it better. it was only slightly better in the end only because the original image was practically invisible. it turned out to be an image of an alien happy face.i brought this new work to the give+take show and selected what i thought was the best work available at that time. I brought it to the person who gave me the dog ptg. and asked if his young son might like it. he thought he would and brought it home. just wanted you to know about the 360 degree flip times two. thought the idea for the show and its realization was quite good. thank you.
