Teaching With Contemporary Art Guest Writer: Nate Morgan

Tomorrow we welcome Nate Morgan as our guest writer for Teaching With Contemporary Art. Nate has been teaching art at Hillside Elementary School in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York for the past eight years, and this year took all 27 of his classes on trips to different museums throughout the tri-state area.

Nate is an active member of the New York State Art Teachers Association, helping to coordinate various art education symposiums and conferences. Prior to teaching at Hillside, Nate was the Associate Director of Admissions at Parsons School of Design, where he also coordinated the Parsons Summer Intensive Studies Program in Paris, France. Nate received his B.F.A. and Art Education Certificate from Parsons School of Design and his master’s degree from Columbia University Teacher’s College.
