		<description><![CDATA[Well written and researched article.  Opens the subject of the Turkish art/social interface.  In today&#039;s Turkish political climate, one wonders how their right wing religious leaders view the art world or if they really care.  To them, it may all seem irrelevent.  From the descriptions,  these works seem to be powerful social/political statements despite the artist&#039;s denial that they portray any one person.  Will these types of works be tolerated in an emerging theocratic state?  Time will tell.]]></description>
