Looking for a little inspiration? Here’s some great art we think is worth checking out:

“I recommend following the Instagram account @ARTHANDLERMAG. Art handlers are the unsung hereos of the artworld and through this account you can see how intimately they work with artworks, some of which can be very difficult to pack and install.

On a personal note, thank you to all of the art handlers of the world who put up with our pesky cameras during stressful installs. Your grace under pressure doesn’t go unnoticed.”

Ian Forster, Producer

“I would definitely check out Martin Puryear’s Big Bling at Madison Square Park.”

Joe Fusaro, Senior Education Advisor
On view through January 8th

“Taryn Simon is about to open a major project at the Park Avenue Armory. Go at sundown to watch and listen to the powerful melodies of over 30 professional mourners, and be sure to reserve your tickets in advance.”

Tina Kukielski, Executive Director
On view September 13th – 25th

“Mine is a movie: An Art That Nature Makes. I knew nothing about the film before going to it (a friend suggested it) and was blown away by Rosamond Purcell’s photography and the ideas in the film and her work. Alas, it’s NYC theatrical run ended but looks like it will be screening around the country.”

Eve Moros Ortega, Executive Producer

“Very beautiful, very eye-opening exhibition of Brazilian 20th Century Renaissance man Roberto Burle Marx (1909–1994)—the artist behind the seaside pavements in Rio’s Copacabana Beach—at the Jewish Museum. If you’re a fan of Mid-Century-ness in all it’s unexpected forms and need a little visual cleanse of all the recent Olympic clutter, check this show out. Up to September 18, along with an installation by compatriot Beatriz Milhazes.”

Nick Ravich, Director of Production
On view through September 18th
